Data Scientist (short-term)

We are seeking a results-driven Data Scientist for a short-term engagement to support our data initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to extract insights, develop models, and provide actionable recommendations that drive business impact.

• Strong expertise in Constraint Programming, specifically with Google's CP-SAT solver is essential.
• Proven experience in building and solving complex optimization problems.
• Proficiency in Python, as CP-SAT is most commonly used with its Python API.
• A solid understanding of data science principles and mathematical optimization.
• Experience in a relevant industry like manufacturing, robotics, or energy is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to meet project deadlines.

• Collaborate with our engineering and robotics teams to understand and refine the complex constraints of the activity sequencing problem.
• Utilize your expertise in the Constraint Programming Solver (CP-SAT), a part of Google's OR-Tools suite, to improve the existing optimization model.
• Identify and implement advanced CP-SAT techniques to handle a wide range of variables and constraints, such as temperature, humidity, and curing times.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to integrate the CP-SAT solver into our existing system.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of the optimization model to ensure its accuracy and reliability in real-world scenarios.
• Provide clear and concise documentation of the model's structure and functionality.
