Data Scientist
• Design and implement end-to-end solutions utilizing machine learning and AI to enhance user experience.
• Conduct experiments and continuously iterate on model improvements, considering multiple feature sets and personalization.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams to create strategic and tactical improvements, as well as develop end-to-end production-ready solutions.
• Communicate methodologies and results to a community of researchers, developers, analysts, and product managers.
• Ensure quality, performance, scalability, and reliability of solutions.
• Estimate effort, develop research and development plans, and prioritize work according to business needs.
Experience
• 5 years of experience in software development, with a significant focus on data technologies and platforms.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong skills in mathematical, statistical, and scientific modeling.
• At least 2 years of experience with PySpark, Python, and Spark, both in development and deployment in a production environment.
• Proficiency in PyTorch and familiarity with recent deep learning literature for model and infrastructural optimizations and techniques; applied experience at scale is highly desirable.
