As a Data Scientist Lead in the Card Analytics team, you design and implement end-to-end data and AI solutions that drive commercial impact for our clients and customers. You collaborate with agile teams to deliver innovative analytics and generative AI use cases, focusing on digital analytics and customer journey.
Job responsibilities
- Learn our business and how we deliver value for clients globally
- Identify opportunities to grow our Cards business using technical skills and curiosity
- Build and rigorously test new data and AI-driven insights
- Develop scalable frameworks for seamless AI model integration across business applications
- Build and test AI agents, iterating designs to enhance functionality and user experience
- Create data pipelines and dashboards using Databricks, Python, Tableau, and Alteryx
- Monitor AI model performance and implement updates to maintain quality and relevance
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Degree in a scientific field (Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, etc.) and nine years applied experience in AI/ML or data science
- Understanding of AI models, including large language model capabilities and limitations
- Experience with statistical analysis, data-driven decision-making, and pattern identification
- Familiarity with AI/ML model evaluation and relevant metrics
- Experience with Python and SQL
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and Software Development Life Cycle concepts
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in teams
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in data analysis, data science, or related fields
- Familiarity with AWS and Databricks for data management and analysis
- Understanding of quality assurance practices and the importance of data integrity
- Awareness of big data technologies such as Spark and distributed computing concepts

The CCB Data & Analytics team responsibly leverages data across Chase to build competitive advantages for the businesses while providing value and protection for customers. The team encompasses a variety of disciplines from data governance and strategy to reporting, data science and machine learning. We have a strong partnership with Technology, which provides cutting edge data and analytics infrastructure. The team powers Chase with insights to create the best customer and business outcomes.
