Data Scientist & Integration Developer 

Location: LATAM - Remote 

Nimble Gravity is seeking a talented and passionate Data Scientist & Integration Developer to join our growing team. This hybrid role combines data science expertise with data integration skills to design innovative solutions, automate workflows, and deliver impactful insights. The ideal candidate will excel in analyzing and visualizing complex data, developing predictive models, automating data extraction, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address business challenges. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with clients and stakeholders, ensuring solutions are accessible and effective. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Data Analysis and Processing: Apply advanced statistical techniques and machine learning for pricing analysis and data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.  
  • Predictive Model Development: Design, build, and deploy predictive models and algorithms that meet business needs using tools such as Python and SQL. 
  • Communication with Stakeholders: Participate in meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to understand and define business requirements, and communicate technical results in accessible language. 
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to implement data-driven improvements. 
  • Optimization and Automation of Processes: Create and maintain efficient, automated workflows, web scraping, integrating data from diverse sources such as APIs, Excel files, SharePoint, and PDFs using Azure cloud technologies. 
  • Custom Connector Development: Develop Python-based custom connectors for legacy systems and automate data extraction from a variety of sources. 
  • Monitoring and Improvement of Models: Evaluate and monitor model performance, making continuous adjustments and improvements. 
  • Compliance with Regulations: Ensure adherence to regulations and ethical practices related to data handling and processing. 
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and data integration, participating in training and workshops as necessary. 
  • Documentation and Reporting: Produce detailed technical documentation and reports for process replication and understanding. 


Requirements: 

Experience:  

  • 5+ years in a Data Scientist or related role. 
  • Proven expertise in data integration and automation. 


Technical Skills:  

  • Python programming and SQL proficiency. 
  • Knowledge of statistical models, machine learning, and data visualization tools like Matplotlib and Seaborn. 
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). 
  • Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, DBT, and web scraping techniques. 
  • (Optional) Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs). 


Soft Skills:  

  • Fluent English (spoken and written). 
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities. 
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
