Department Description:

Digital analytics teams play a critical role in optimizing customers’ shopping, buying, and servicing journeys by analyzing behavior across web and mobile channels to uncover actionable insights. They translate complex digital data into clear insights, dashboards, and recommendations that improve customer experience, conversion, engagement, and overall digital performance. Acting as a bridge between business partners and data teams, they define measurement frameworks, interpret key journey KPIs, and enable data‑driven decisions that drive measurable business outcomes across the end‑to‑end customer lifecycle.

Role Summary:

As an expert in data and analytics, you will provide in depth expertise, analytical interpretation, key insights and action items to your multi-functional business partners across the organization. Those insights will enable informed business decisions to enterprise wide or help to solve the increasingly complex business problems they face.

In this role, TD will look to you for thought leadership; enabling you to lead, coach, mentor, empower and educate your peers to collaborate and bring TD into the future of banking.

Core Responsibilities:

· Partner with digital, marketing, product, and technology teams to apply business and channel strategies to web and mobile analytics that support enterprise and line-of-business goals.

· Analyze customer behavior across digital channels (e.g., website, mobile app, acquisition funnels, and engagement journeys) to uncover actionable insights and optimization opportunities.

· Develop and deliver data-driven insights and recommendations that improve customer experience, conversion, engagement, and overall digital performance.

· Conduct end-to-end analytics including hypothesis development, data extraction, analysis, insight synthesis, and executive-ready storytelling.

· Translate complex digital data into clear, consumable dashboards and visualizations that enable stakeholders to monitor performance and make informed decisions.

· Act as a bridge between business partners and data teams, translating digital business requirements into analytics solutions and measurement frameworks.

· Serve as a subject matter expert in digital channel analytics, providing context on customer journeys, KPIs, attribution, and channel performance.

· Educate and enable business partners to interpret digital metrics and analytics outputs to drive self-serve insights and data-informed decision-making.

· Communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences, translating insights into prioritized actions and measurable business outcomes.

· Proactively identify, ideate, and execute value-add analytics use cases that improve digital channel effectiveness and customer outcomes.

· Participate in knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen digital analytics capabilities across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using either Python OR SQL OR Spark to manipulate data and draw insights from large and complex datasets
  • Experience with Web Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics as an asset
  • Experience with Power BI

Considered a Plus:

  • Experience in project development workflow tools such as JIRA, Confluence and GitHub
  • Knowledge in leveraging cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure, Databricks) in deploying analytics solutions

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or technical certificate

2 + years of relevant experience from a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background
