Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Data Scientist (Level 2/3) to join the Supply Chain Fulfillment Process & Performance team in Everett, WA or North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st Shift.
Position Responsibilities:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field is mandatory.

Position Responsibilities:
- Make use of and apply job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts
- Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Work under general supervision, special assignments. makes sound technical judgment and overall adequacy
- Contribute to the completion of specific project milestones
- Interact primarily with internal personnel and infrequently with inter-organizational and external customers on routine matters
Basic Qualifications/Skills/Years of Experience (REQUIRED)
- (Level : 2) 2+ years of experience in forecasting, planning, analytics, and supply chain processes
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, logistics, or large-scale manufacturing environments
- 2+ years of experience in Demand Forecasting and/or Data Simulation
- Experience with RStudio and/or SQL knowledge
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/ Years of Experience (DESIRED)
- (Level : 3) Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- Programming experience in Python
- Experience in Data Analytics and Statistics modelling experience
- Experience in Tableau, Dataiku, Gitlab or similar data visualization tools
- Experience in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Experience in SAP and/or Servigistics
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure
- Experience in Operations Research from an airline, OEM, logistics company, etc.
- Certifications: Professional certifications in data analytics or specific BI platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, SAS) can be a plus
Education:
