Our team thrives on in-person collaboration, operating from our unique center-city Philadelphia office. As an intern at Perpay, your main responsibility is to learn. We understand the value of mentorship and offer students an opportunity to gain real work experience before graduation. In the 10-12 weeks we’ll be together next summer (2026), you will have the opportunity to leverage our expansive data sets to research, identify and build features to train models and drive real impact. Applying your knowledge of topics such as modeling, statistical methodologies, and exploratory data analysis you will partner with business leaders and communicate solutions designed to drive company growth. You will also have the opportunity to think proactively and futuristically to identify opportunities to contribute to our long-term roadmap for Data Science. All while developing the skills to succeed in a fast-paced tech start-up environment and experiencing and contributing to our unique culture.

What You’ll Bring:- Currently enrolled in or will receive a Bachelor’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or an equivalent technical discipline with an expected graduation date between winter 2026 – summer 2027
- Knowledge of machine learning and statistical research
- Experience using SQL for acquiring and transforming data
- Proficient in programming, analysis and visualization using object-oriented programming languages (Python preferred)
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages (Python preferred))
Bonus:
- Enrolled in a Master’s Degree or advanced technical degree
- Previous work experience in a technical field
- Experience with implementing machine learning solutions to production environments
- Understanding of modern scalable data science platforms
