Trepp is looking for one intern to join Trepp’s Data Science team to help enhance our market leading product platforms. This is a paid internship for Summer 2025 located in Trepp’s office in Midtown Manhattan.
Professional and Technical Responsibilities
Work under supervision on data science-related activities including, but not limited to:
- Collaborate with experts and stakeholders to identify business problems and translate them into data-driven solutions
- Clean, process, and transform large datasets for analysis and modeling
- Develop and validate statistical and machine learning models to solve business problems

- Strive to take on new challenges and support departmental goals
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data preprocessing techniques
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Salary
- Hourly rate starting at $20 plus over-time

Workplace Policy
NYC, Dallas, and London office-based positions: Trepp’s offices follow a 3-2 hybrid working policy with the expectation of in-office work on Tuesday-Thursday and the option to work from home on Monday and Friday.
