Interactive Entertainment Group (IEG) is responsible for the R&D, operation, and development of the company's interactive entertainment business including games and eSports. Through online gaming, live broadcasts, and offline eSports, IEG assists the company in leading the global interactive entertainment market to create better interactive entertainment content experiences for users.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze large-scale datasets to solve complex business and technical challenges in gaming through analytics and provide actionable business insights to stakeholders.

2. Contribute to dashboard development and reporting solutions using internal and commercial BI tools like Tableau.

3. Collaborate with product and analytics teams to develop data-driven strategies and implement solutions that enhance business value.

4. Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes and data models.

5. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and best practice discussions to enhance data engineering and analytics processes.

Who We Look For

Requirements:

1. Pursuing a M.S., or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

2. Proficiency in Python and expertise in SQL, including the use of window functions, CTEs, self-joins, and other complex SQL functionalities.

3. Knowledge and experience with at least one visualization tool (ideally Tableau).

4. Ability to communicate with the business to understand processes and tools and translate this into business logic.

5. Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling techniques.

6. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills and strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

7. Passionate about games and the gaming industry.
