We are looking for a full-time Summer BI Intern to join the Data Science team. In this role, you will help improve marketing strategies for Tatari clients by developing compelling, actionable insights through quantitative analysis, innovative thinking, and storytelling with data. A key focus of this internship will be the development of a new strategic dashboard and related data source. You will also collaborate closely with our client services, media buying, and data teams, contributing directly to Tatari’s mission to redefine the TV ad buying experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Build reports and data visualizations to support stakeholders
  • Fulfill requests from the marketing, client services and media buying teams, from customizing data dashboards on Tableau to fulfilling operational requirements
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline development and automate manual processes
  • Work closely within a team of highly experienced, analytically-inclined professionals

Qualifications:

  • On track for a Bachelor’s in an analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Business, Finance, etc.); you have not graduated or are not graduating this semester.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau) and SQL, either through coursework or internships.
  • Ability to manipulate, validate, and analyze large amounts of data and to organize findings and translate into actionable insights.
  • Steadfast focus on the details, while keeping strategic priorities top-of-mind.
  • Radiate positivity and possess a “can-do” attitude.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into business insights
  • A quick learner, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; adaptability and a strong self-teaching ethic are highly valued.
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities and project management skills.
  • Bonus:
    • Experience with data tools and processes (e.g., Looker, Data Lakes and Data Extraction) 
    • Experience with responsibly leveraging AI tools to complete tasks (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini)
    • Working knowledge of statistics and probability, particularly their application in systems analysis and operations research
    • TV media industry experience
