  • Responsible for the preparation of both ongoing and ad-hoc reports of considerable complexity to support organizational objectives.

  • Develops and maintains automated reports, dashboards, and data visualizations utilizing tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. Delivers visualizations and internal presentations to key stakeholders.

  • Engages with leadership in aligned business areas to gain a comprehensive understanding of business strategy, inquiries, and objectives.

  • Applies in-depth business knowledge to anticipate and address reporting needs, adjusting reporting strategies proactively in response to evolving business decisions.

  • Communicates findings and outcomes effectively to management and leadership teams.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and align with business goals.

  • Provides actionable insights by analyzing and interpreting data trends.

  • Designs and creates ad hoc reports as required. Ensures the validity of analytical methodologies employed by other specialists, leading advanced initiatives for reporting enhancements and automation.

  • Offers guidance to colleagues on the implementation of process improvements and automation strategies.

  • Reviews and optimizes queries for performance, making necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.

  • Serves as a subject matter expert for escalated query or report-writing issues and leads the design and development of reporting systems, including the creation of comprehensive user documentation.

  • Conducts exploratory or descriptive analytics using data derived from queries when necessary.

  • Oversees and manages recurring reporting processes, ensuring they align with business objectives and are executed efficiently.

  • Identifies opportunities for process optimization in data collection, reporting, and analysis, recommending improvements as appropriate.

  • Contributes to special projects and undertakes additional duties as required.

  • Prepares detailed reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing key insights and recommendations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience in data reporting and visualization.

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Must have strong experience in stakeholder management by translating complex business requirements into actionable data/reporting requirements.

  • Relevant certifications in data visualization or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL).

  • Extensive experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc. Experience with Python is a plus.

  • Experience with data automation, query optimization, and process improvement.

  • Strong understanding of business strategy and data-driven decision-making.

  • Expertise in analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.

  • Ability to identify and implement improvements in data collection, reporting, and analysis workflows.
