About the Role

The Data Reporting Analyst will partner with the Strategic Sourcing team to assess reporting needs and deliver effective data driven solutions. In this role, you will design and deliver high impact Power BI dashboards, modernize legacy reporting, and collaborate closely with Strategic Sourcing stakeholders. You will work hands on with Workday, Power BI, and Excel to produce best in class reporting products that support operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze reporting needs, available data, and retrieval methods to develop reporting systems that meet departmental requirements.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high‑quality Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business and stakeholder needs.

  • Manage and assign ad hoc reporting requests.

  • Oversee the design and development of new reporting processes.

  • Serve as a technical resource for the division.

  • Implement and manage automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

  • Integrate reporting tools and platforms to ensure seamless data flow across systems.

  • Utilize Workday and Power BI to develop and enhance enterprise reporting capabilities.

What You Bring

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of four years of experience in health insurance, financial, or actuarial fields utilizing statistics and programming applications.

  • 2 years data reporting experience preferred.

  • Preferred experience working with Horizon BCBSNJ systems.

  • Demonstrated experience in business reporting using Power BI, Workday, and Excel.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Preferred: Knowledge of Horizon BCBSNJ products and file structures.

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in a Windows environment.

  • Working knowledge of internet and intranet applications.

  • Strong proficiency with Workday and Power BI.

Salary Range:

$63,000 - $84,420

​This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.  This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting.  Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
