Data Procurement Specialist (f/m/d)

As a Data Procurement Specialist, you will be instrumental in sourcing, negotiating, and securing high-quality datasets that power our Large Language Models and industry-specific solutions, positioning us to tackle the challenges of tomorrow. 

Your responsibilities: 

• Research and identify potential data suppliers and sources that align with the company’s industry focus and modeling needs. 

• Negotiate data acquisition terms, pricing, and licensing agreements with data suppliers to ensure the best value for the organization. 

• Translate product and research requirements into specific data acquisitions. 

• Identify and acquire data that provides a competitive edge from different vendors. 

• Collaborate with data engineers, researchers, and industry experts to understand the specific data requirements for different models and use cases. 

• Ensure all data procurement activities comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, particularly concerning data privacy and intellectual property rights. 

Your profile: 

• Proven experience in data procurement, data management, or a related role, ideally within a data-driven industry. 

• Strong background in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships. 

• Familiarity with data privacy laws, intellectual property rights, and compliance issues related to data acquisition. 

• Experience working with data engineers/AI researchers and understanding technical requirements. 

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving data needs and market conditions. 

• You are knowledgeable about Generative AI use cases and the critical role of data in developing new solutions. 
   

Nice if you have: 

• Proficiency in data management tools and platforms is a plus. 

• Experience with Machine Learning and/or Data Science
