Job Title: Data Processing Clerk

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Description:

To support the overall organization by accurately and effectively insuring that all customer’s orders are transmitted, checked and verified before picking.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Information Systems Support 
   1. Uploading all customer’s orders
   2. Reading each customer’s order to ensure accuracy
   3. Identifying issues on orders
   4. Editing customer’s orders as needed and making changes in AS400
   5. Calling customers with questions, concerns, problems, etc.
   6. Research problems, take appropriate action, follow up with any trends
   7. Pick, assemble & invoice current day customers.
   8. Support the sales team with price books, shelf tags, etc
   9. Handle all customer requests on ordering unit (Cipher unit).
   10. Keep inventory & repair log of Cipher Units.

1. Customer Service
   1. Adhere to professional and courteous treatment of all customers, both internal and external.
   2. Follow up to ensure all customer issues will be resolved as quickly and accurately as possible.

1. Knowledge Skills & Abilities
   1. Computer experience required.
   2. Microsoft Office (word, excel, etc).
   3. Experience with AS400 preferred.
   4. Must have problem solving capabilities.
   5. Must be organized and detail oriented when relaying information.
   6. 10 Key by Touch.
   7. Work under tight deadlines.
   8. Good mathematical aptitude.
   9. Excellent written skills.
   10. Excellent verbal communication.

1. High School Degree or Equivalent

**Must be in your current position for at least 6 months
