Job Title: Data Privacy Specialist
Experience: 7+ Years
We are looking for an experienced Data Privacy Specialist to develop and implement data privacy frameworks, ensure compliance with privacy regulations, conduct privacy risk assessments, and support enterprise-wide data protection initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain data privacy policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Conduct privacy compliance assessments, risk assessments, and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- Ensure compliance with applicable privacy regulations (GDPR, PDPL, CCPA, etc.).
- Maintain Personal Data Inventories and Data Flow Maps.
- Promote Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default principles.
- Collaborate with Legal, IT, Security, Risk, and business teams on privacy initiatives.
- Deliver privacy awareness and training programs.
- 7+ years of experience in Data Privacy, Data Protection, or Information Governance.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, PDPL, CCPA, or similar privacy regulations.
- Hands-on experience with DPIAs, Privacy Risk Assessments, Data Mapping, and Compliance Assessments.
- Experience developing and implementing data privacy policies and governance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Privacy by Design, Data Minimization, Purpose Limitation, and Data Subject Rights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CDPSE, or ISO 27701.
- Experience with OneTrust, BigID, Microsoft Purview, or similar privacy platforms.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, NIST Privacy Framework, and Data Governance.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and privacy controls.
