We are looking for a passionate Data Platform Engineer with a strong software engineering skill to design and manage the development of scalable and reliable data platforms. You will help expand our data platform and enable our product engineering teams and data scientists to enrich the product experience. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, intensive data users, tackling challenges that impact millions of people on our journey to becoming the No.1 delivery platform in Thailand.
What you’ll Do:
- Define, i
- mplement, and enforce architecture patterns and design principles to ensure that the platform is scalable, high-performance, reliable, and easy to use.
- Build fault tolerant, self-healing, adaptive and highly accurate data computational and analytic processing applications
- Develop data models and architecture for end-to-end data pipelines both streaming and batch.
- Optimize and scale our data platform product across multiple teams in LMWN
- Enable and support data engineers to optimize and improve ETL process by providing monitoring and tracking system
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, product managers, and software engineers to drive value for our customers and business partners.
- Manage continuous deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of the data streaming platform in production and testing environments.
What you’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related fields.
- 1+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong programming skills (Python and/or Java preferred)
- Strong software engineering skills such as Data Structure and Algorithm and System Design
- Experience with distributed computing technologies, e.g. Kafka, Flink, Spark, Hive, HDFS, Presto, Druid/Imply.
- Experience with data infrastructure components including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, monitoring, system logging ,and SRE mindset.
- Proficient in English and Thai language skills
- Based in or close to Thailand, or willing to relocate.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 1+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong programming skills (Python and/or Java).
- Strong software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience with distributed computing technologies (Kafka, Flink, Spark, Hive, HDFS, Presto, Druid/Imply).
- Experience with data infrastructure components including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, monitoring, system logging, and SRE mindset.
- Based in or close to Thailand, or willing to relocate.
