About the RoleWe’re looking for a Data Operations Manager to scale the data ecosystem behind frontier AI models—powering next-generation Reinforcement Learning (RL) environments, agentic tasks, and datasets that directly shape how advanced models learn, reason, and act in the world.
What you'll doSource and manage experts and vendors to build high-quality datasets
Procure and curate datasets to enable rich and realistic RL environments
Partner closely with Research Engineers and Project Leads to translate evolving project goals into clear execution plans—proactively aligning the right talent, skill sets, and bandwidth to workstreams to ensure scalable, high-impact delivery as priorities evolve.
Analyze performance data to optimize data pipelines, and inform direction.
Build scalable processes to improve data throughput, efficiency, and quality.
Proven track record of managing distributed expert contractors and vendors
Experience designing and scaling data pipelines, workflows, and data systems
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy
Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-evolving and research-driven environments
Strong cross-functional communication and organizational execution skills
Ownership mindset with a bias toward building systems and execution
Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid).
