Data Operations Analyst

We are looking for a talented Data Operations Analyst to join our Data team!

In this role you will play a vital role in monitoring system performance and ensuring smooth operations. The Operations analyst will be responsible for flagging and solving incidents, prioritizing issues, and collaborating with R&D, Delivery, and customer success teams. The Operations Analyst will also maintain the monitoring framework, including validating the alerts sanity, creating new alerts and optimizing existing monitors.

• Monitor system performance and operations to ensure they meet performance and availability standards.
• Flag and solve urgent incidents, escalating complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
• Prioritize incidents based on urgency and impact, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with R&D, Delivery, and customer success teams to address operational issues and improve processes.
• Track and analyze existing monitors behavior in order to continually improve them.
• Develop and implement new monitors to increase monitoring coverage.
• Implement monitoring related processes, such as On Call playbooks and reports, to ensure consistency of service level and to make sure SLAs are met.
• Optimize operational workflows and implement best practices for enhanced productivity
• Prepare and provide regular status updates and reports on system performance and incident management.

• 2+ years in Operations / Support / Monitoring roles, from a Saas company.
• Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries
• Experience with incident management tools such as PagerDuty / OpsGenie or similar.
• Basic understanding of system monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and address issues effectively
• Experience with logs collecting systems such as Kibana, Coralogix, Logz.io or similar.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and respond to urgent situations.
• Experience with DBT, Python or Git - Advantage.
