Role

We have an exciting newly-created role for a data operation specialist  who is self-starter, quick learner, well motivated, flexible, passionate about data, and seeks problems to solve. The data analyst will be responsible for creating new issuers, inputting and reviewing reference data, combining issuers, creating new instruments, inputting and maintaining reference data, mapping third party internal and external third party identifiers  If you are someone who likes to work on challenging projects and have a greater flexibility to work on multiple credit data sets then you must apply. 

You Will

  • Create and maintain entities and corporate hierarchy for the covered issuers.  
  • Input and maintain reference data on covered issuers.   
  • Create and maintain mapping internal and external identifiers. 
  • Flag inconsistencies on the data, system and process to process and business leads. 
  • Conduct audits and clean up when required. 
  • Completely own the process and system along with entering and reviewing the data. 
  • Support MDM gap analysis and implement solutions to fill the gaps. 
  • Communicate the story effectively to key stakeholders, the team and enterprise. 
  • Support all the internal teams and resolve their escalated issues within 24 hours. 
  • Query Reorg’s databases to identify, remediate and report on data quality issues. 
  • Partner with Data, Editorial, Product Management and Technology teams across Reorg to define requirements for critical data projects. 

Requirements 


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer information systems, business administration, or a related field
  • 5-10  years of experience in a data/financial service company. 
  • Flexible to follow US and European hours - when required. 
  • Prior experience of entity mgmt is a plus. 
  • Effective project management skills, including strong attention to detail, and demonstrated analytical skills. 
  • Basic understanding of credit and equity markets.  
  • Strong excel skills. 
  • Committed to deadlines and are able to communicate up whenever deliverables are delayed with solutions.
  • Skilled at partnering with people across the enterprise
  • Flexible to work from the office when required. 
  • Innovative, creatively pushing the boundaries and don't shy away from challenges. You have a strong work ethic, are self-motivated and have the ability to continuously acquire, build and share knowledge, in a fast paced environment
