Summary:
As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves collaborating closely with business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects to develop and refine data models that accurately represent both current and future data requirements. This role requires continuous engagement with various stakeholders to ensure that data structures align with business needs and technical specifications. The Data Modeler plays a crucial part in designing data flows and solutions that support organizational objectives, often balancing multiple perspectives to create effective and scalable data models.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive data models that support business processes and analytics.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on data requirements.
- Oversee the quality and consistency of data models, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and best practices.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and mentoring to enhance their skills and understanding of data modeling.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- Experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling approaches.
- Familiarity with solution design and data flow design principles.
- Hands-on experience working with data integration and transformation tools such as Matillion and data warehousing platforms like RedShift.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions that meet business objectives.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- This position is based at our BDC6F - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
