As a Data Migration Engineer,
- You will play a key role in the successful migration of data from SAS to PySpark.
- You will work closely with our cross-functional teams and be responsible for ensuring the seamless transition of our data processes.
- To excel in this role,you should possess extensive experience in SAS, Spark, and Python, with a strong background in data migration and integration.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) is a must, as it will be integral to our project management and deployment processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data migration projects, specifically migrating from SAS to PySpark.
- Proficiency in SAS, Spark, and Python programming languages.
- Strong understanding of data integration, ETL, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for project management and version control.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
