Perficient has a career opportunity for a Data Migration Architect to join our team. Candidates can be based in most major metro areas in US near airport, and be willing to work on hybrid basis if/when needed and travel up to 25% if/when needed. As a part of our data intelligence and analytics group, you’ll help shape the future of high-quality data solutions. You'll work as part of a team of self-starters and problem solvers, solving our clients’ most complex business needs.
ResponsibilitiesThe Data Migration Architect owns the design authority for the data migration from Oracle ATG to the selected commerce platform: the source-to-target mapping every engineer builds from, what gets migrated versus federated versus rebuilt, and how correctness is proven at each regional cutover. A design and judgment role, not hands-on build. The architect owns the mapping, reviews what the team and AI assistance produce, and defends the design to the client’s architects and business stakeholders.
