Data Officer – Business Application Support
As a Data Officer within the Business Application Support function at EFG, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, managing, and operationalizing the bank’s data governance, quality, and usage frameworks.
Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT, you will combine strong data management expertise with business analysis skills to understand, structure, and serve business data needs in an efficient, sustainable, and compliant way.

Mission
Your mission is to oversee, enhance, and operationalize the management, protection, and value creation of data across EFG’s international operations, with a strong focus on business applications and user service.
You will:
- Act as a key interface between business and IT, gathering, analyzing, and formalizing business data requirements.
- Ensure continuity of service, stability of data-related processes, and responsiveness to user needs within the application support context.
- Translate business demands into clear, rationalized, and reusable data solutions to avoid duplication and improve efficiency.
- Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to deliver reliable, consistent, and well-documented datasets to business users.
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of data governance policies, data quality controls, and regulatory compliance (including GDPR and other applicable regulations).
