Position Title: Data Manager III (Option)
Location: Fort Detrick, Frederick, MD
Clearance required: ADP III (IT-III) designation minimum per DoD 5200.02; favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI); U.S. citizenship required for .mil domain access.
Scope of Work: Performs Data Manager II duties with senior-level responsibility for data transfer and integration strategies, maintaining system-to-system interfaces for the Electronic Grants System (EGS). This is an option labor category.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Oversee data transfer and integration strategies for system-to-system interfaces for EGS.
- Maintain system-to-system interfaces and facilitate data exchanges.
- Develop and prototype new web services and APIs using JSON, SOAP, and XML.
- Develop advanced data queries and create new data models and views.
- Senior-level data management expertise beyond the Data Manager II level
- Technical expertise in JSON, SOAP, and XML for web services and API development
- Ability to develop advanced data queries and create data models and views
- U.S. citizenship; able to obtain a favorable NACI and ADP III designation
