The Senior Manager of Enterprise Data Analytics will lead a team of data professionals focused on delivering high-impact analytics, insights, and data-driven strategies across the organization. This role will drive enterprise-wide initiatives by partnering with cross-functional leaders in different Business Value Streams at Vertex, to turn complex data into actionable intelligence. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives at the intersection of data, technology, and business value. Key Responsibilities - Manage a team of direct reports, including day-to-day supervision and performance oversight. - Lead and develop a high-performing team of data analysts, business analysts, and data visualization specialists. - Translate executive and departmental business goals into data strategies, insights, and scalable reporting solutions. - Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks using tools like Power BI and Tableau. - Partner with data engineering and data governance teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility. - Identify opportunities to drive business outcomes through predictive analytics, trend modeling, segmentation, and customer lifecycle insights. - Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership by providing analytical guidance on initiatives, KPIs, and operational decisions. - Foster a culture of data literacy, storytelling, and self-service analytics across the organization. - Own the intake, prioritization, and delivery of analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines. - Develop frameworks for measurement, experimentation (A/B testing), and business impact analysis. - Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards in all analytics practices. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. - 8+ years of progressive experience in analytics or business intelligence, with at least 2–3 years in a people leadership role. - Proven ability to manage, mentor, and scale high-performing analytics teams. - Deep expertise in data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). - Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of data platforms (Snowflake, Data Cloud, etc.). - Experience in enterprise SaaS, B2B tech, or digital transformation environments is preferred. - Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to translate complex data into business value. - Experience working in Agile or cross-functional environments is a plus.
