Job Responsibilities:
What you can expect
  • Design and build our data pipeline architecture as well as optimize data flow for collection, ingestion, process and exchange for cross functional teams
  • Collaborate with technical team members to ensure the solution design satisfies project objectives and business requirements
  • Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various data engineering projects
  • Participate in on-call support
  • Support with data governance and security policies to ensure data integrity and confidentiality
  • Participate in evaluation and selection of new data tools and technologies to enhance our data capabilities
  • Ability to build and support programs across cloud and on-prem infrastructure
  • Perform operational tasks that facilitate and advances our infrastructure needs
  • Optimizing and implementing cost measures to ensure sustainability of our data services
  • Design, build and implement ETL scripts and pipelines
  • Work with engineering, IT and other teams to understand and prioritize deployment of data analytic services
  • Configure cloud based solutions (AWS, Azure) and enable end user self service
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to make automation process run smoother
  • Optimize enterprise data, analytic tools and applications
  • Build and roll out dashboards for multiple teams
  • Determine, enforce and document databases policies, procedures, standards and governance

What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study
  • Experience with Python, Pyspark
  • 4+ years of experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Experience in business analytic and business intelligence tools
  • Experience in building high scale data pipelines in hybrid environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in data security and data governance
  • Experience with big data tech like - Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Apache airflow
  • Strong understanding of database systems including RDS, postgresSQL
  • Experience with CICD ecosystems
  • Micro-service architecture experience
  • Programming languages - Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby, SQL
  • Experience with container services - Docker, Kubernetes, service meshes etc.
  • Experience with Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet, Terraform, CDK, Jira, Confluence
  • Exposure to Graphana, Prometheus
