The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic BI Developer to join our experienced software design team. You will report directly to the Technical Manager and assist with all functions of software coding and design. You will also work closely with Business analysts, understand the design specifications, and translate the requirements into a Power BI Reports, Apps or any other similar reporting solution.
What you'll Do
- Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop & Power Service
- Creating writeback tool using Power App and Automate for various business requirements
- Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence
- Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards
- Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation
- Adept in developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements
- Implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
- Creating comprehensive documents/ Data Dictionary for Power BI reports/ apps
- Collaborate with business professionals, application developers, and technical staff working in an agile process environment.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s in computer science or related streams
- 5+ years of work experience in Power BI and DAX Queries
- 3+ years of experience in Power Tools including, Power Apps and Power Automate and must have delivered working solutions in past
- Microsoft Certified in Data Analyst Associate or equivalent certification in same technology
- Excellent UI design skill and hands on experience in designing and developing entities in PowerApps.
- Proficient knowledge in SQL Queries writing
- Expert in Data modelling, Prototyping and data analysis techniques
- Expert in using advance level calculations on the data set
- Good understanding of Performance tuning techniques of Power BI reports
- Ability to work in a team environment and be detail oriented
- Good to have Azure Fundamentals knowledge or any other cloud concepts
