Role is concentrate on establishing and upholding an enterprise data governance framework, ensuring adherence to data policies, standards, and practices, crucial for maintaining consistency, quality, and safeguarding data to fulfil overall business requirements during the design, implementation and support over the company Reporting and BW solutions related to S4/o9.
How you will contribute
You will:

  • Drive and enhance enterprise data governance implementation roadmap, outlining strategic priorities for information-based capabilities within the functions across the Regions related to reporting change due to S4/o9
  • Identify, educate and mentor different Data Governance personas (ex. Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Custodians) within the function inline with the Data Governance & Stewardship practices.
  • Oversee the seamless integration of diverse data sources, ensuring seamless transition from SAP R3/BW data source to S4/HANA /GCP and relevant reporting platforms including definition of scope, data objects and data tranformation
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for system integration partners and acting as the main liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth coordination and integration of data processes and systems
  • Organize and lead sessions to identify and document domain critical data sets, business rules, scorecards required within the function with close collaboration from business and MDS.
  • Review, assess and document the proposed critical data sets, business rules, scorecards required within the function, based on the domain knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain data catalogues, data lineage maps, and business glossaries in collaboration with stakeholders for the relevant reporting solution.
  • Work with close collaboration with the MSC Data Governance and Global DGO function to continue drive evolution of solutions linked to business requirements and Data Governance Framework.
  • Support MSC Data Governance organization with enriching and enhancement of standards, policies, and procedures to assure on-going success of the governance framework within the organization.
  • Serves as a business consultant on business problems, identifies data needs and formulates data solutions, creates practical development roadmaps, and presents recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Drive the development and implementation of data protection and data quality standards across the function.
  • Define performance indicators, quality metrics, ensuring compliance with data-related policies, standards, roles, responsibilities, and adoption requirements.
  • Provide support for project planning and management, ensuring compliance with best practices and legal frameworks within data governance.
