We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Engineering Data Management Specialist to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania, Bucharest team - for the role of Data Governance Deployment Analyst (Focus Data Governance Methods & Tools).
Areas of impact: Enabling the business to be more efficient, supporting the adoption in each function and increasing the maturity by strengthening Data Governance effectiveness through KPI reporting by implementing / extending dashboards and automating data collection. Data Governance analyst profile having expertise in Data Governance and data analytics knowledge supporting data modelling and KPI reporting on data tagging (Qlik, AppScript, JIRA Data).
Responsibilities
Key activities:
KPI Automation & Analytics: Design and automate data collection for Data Governance KPIs (e.g., Google Drive tagging, Data Usage Assessment progress, and domain maturity).
Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain dashboards (QlikSense, Google Looker) to track and visualize KPI progress per Data Office for review in committee meetings (SDGC).
Tool & Portal Administration: Act as the primary coordinator for governance tools, including JIRA (for assessments), and the maintenance/development of the Data Governance Google Site.
Compliance Operations: Execute and monitor automated compliance processes, such as the Data Tagging Reminder system, and provide support to users on dashboard usage and labelling.
Technical Requirement Definition: Gather and analyse functional requirements for the evolution of data governance tools and support the maintenance of field of requirements.
Data Custodian: Act as Data Custodian for the Digital Data Office, support in the adoption of the new Data Catalogue and act as future key user
Key accountabilities:
Accuracy of Performance Reporting: Ensuring that the Data Governance dashboards provide a "single source of truth" for the organization.
Communication Tools: Maintain the DG Google Site up to date and related collaboration tools.
Automation & Efficiency: Reducing manual data collection efforts through the use of AppScript and Qlik automation.
Coordinate activities, plan tasks and report on progress on Data Governance"
