The Role

A Data Entry Clerk inputs, updates, and maintains information in digital databases or spreadsheets, ensuring high accuracy and data integrity. They are responsible for reviewing documents, verifying data accuracy, and organizing files while meeting.

 

  • Data Entry: Accurately enter information from various sources (paper documents, digital files) into company systems.
  • Verification: Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information, correcting as necessary.
  • Maintenance: Organize, update, and manage digital records and databases.
  • Data Cleaning: Remove duplicates and maintain data integrity to improve database quality.
  • Reporting: Generate reports, summaries, and backups as needed.
  • Confidentiality: Adhere to data protection and security protocols.
