Hart & Hickman, PC is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support our environmental consulting team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely data compilation for technical reports by reviewing environmental laboratory reports and entering results into standardized Excel tables. Responsibilities:
- Review laboratory analytical reports for environmental samples (soil, groundwater, vapor, etc.)
- Enter laboratory results and field sampling data into summary tables used in technical reporting
- Prepare and format Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs) in accordance with state and federal regulatory guidance
- Assist with geolocation data formatting and verification for environmental sample locations
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Assist project managers and technical staff with data tabulation, formatting, and data visualization tasks
- Maintain digital filing systems for lab reports and data summaries
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree (AA or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formatting, basic formulas, and data validation)
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an environmental, scientific, or technical setting
- Familiarity with environmental laboratory data and terminology
- GIS experience is a plus
