Position Summary

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, organizing, and maintaining company information in databases, spreadsheets, computer systems, and other records. This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work efficiently while handling repetitive tasks and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
Enter and update information accurately into databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems.
Review documents and records for accuracy, completeness, and missing information.
Verify data against source documents and correct errors as needed.
Maintain organized electronic and physical records.
Process invoices, orders, forms, customer information, and other business documents.
Perform data verification and quality-control checks.
Retrieve and provide information from databases when requested.
Update existing records and remove duplicate or outdated information.
Scan, upload, rename, and organize electronic documents.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information.
Assist with administrative tasks, filing, reporting, and document preparation.
Communicate with other departments to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
Meet established accuracy, productivity, and turnaround-time requirements.
Follow company procedures for data security, recordkeeping, and document retention.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous data entry or administrative experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good typing and computer skills.
Ability to work independently and manage repetitive tasks.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to identify and correct errors.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of data entry, administrative, clerical, or office experience.
Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
