About the Role

In this role you will have the chance to build large additions to our data engineering framework, contributing to an infrastructure that centralizes ETL logic and metric definitions. You will have autonomy to design and build scalable data engineering solutions to solve business and data problems.

About You

This is what you’ll need to succeed in this role from day 1. 

Requirements:

  • You have a degree in an engineering or computer science field
  • You have 2+ years of work experience in data engineering or closely related field, with strong experience in data modeling and data job development
  • You have some familiarity with using technologies like Spark, dbt, Fivetran, & Airflow to access an S3 data warehouse
  • You have experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, etc. and enjoy using them to streamline day-to-day tasks like testing and problem-solving, actively documenting effective prompts and sharing learnings to build scalable, repeatable workflows.
  • You have experience partnering cross-functionally and enjoy gathering input from stakeholders
  • You are a proactive communicator who helps simplify and move complex problems forward
  • You have experience coding at a production level in Python and SQL
  • You are innovative and inspired to take on new challenges and you do not shy away from potential failure

Compensation and Benefits
This role will receive a competitive salary and benefits. The salary for US-based employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range below, which includes our three geographic areas. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, location, and performance. In addition, the position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and other benefits. Applicants should apply via our internal or external careers site.

Salary Range
$89,800$167,000 USD
