JOB DESCRIPTION
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics
datasets using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric .
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for high - volume, high - dimensional
data supporting semantic data models, reporting, advanced analytics, and AI
use cases.
• Use SQL, Python , and distributed data processing frameworks to ensure
performant, reliable, and reusable data assets.
• Implement and manage analytics -ready data layers consumed by Power BI,
and AI solutions .
• Support and enhance enterprise analytics platforms following the migration to
Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric .
• Collaborate with analytics, data science, and business teams to translate
requirements into robust data engineering solutions.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Required:
• Strong expertise in SQL and Python.
• Semantic data modeling concepts.
• Experience building and supporting Data Warehousing and Business
Intelligence platforms .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Other Qualifications/Skillsets:
• Databricks : Python, PySpark, or Scala .
• Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouses, Data Pipelines, notebooks).
• Microsoft BI ecosystem: Power BI, Analysis Services (Tabular , DAX ).
• Experience with Big Data, distributed processing, and cloud - based data
architectures .
• Exposure to AI and Machine Learning use cases , including data preparation for
ML/AI models.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops, GitHub , and CI/CD .

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of relevant work experience (typically)
- Minimum 2+ years in a similar software engineering role
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and development methodologies
- Strong programming and debugging skills
- Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Advanced degree in a related field
