We are looking for a Data Engineer, located in Ukraine to join our international team.
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade backend data solutions, from initial research and architecture through development, testing, and release.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, Architects, and other R&D teams to deliver high-impact, business-driven solutions.
- Own data pipelines and platforms in production, ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows and systems in live environments.
- Partner with Data Science teams to support advanced analytics, modeling, and experimentation.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building and operating Big Data solutions in production environments.
- Strong experience with Big Data frameworks such as Apache Spark and/or Apache Flink.
- Proven ability to write complex, efficient SQL queries.
- Production-level experience developing Spark applications using Scala or Java.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Experience with Apache Airflow and AWS services (EMR, Glue, Athena).
- Solid knowledge of Python and Linux environments.
- Experience working with ClickHouse.
- Familiarity with the Ad Tech ecosystem, including RTB (Real-Time Bidding).
- Experience with functional programming, unit testing / TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Node.js.
