Who We’re Looking ForWe are seeking a Data Engineer with strong cloud and data platform experience to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, data modeling, and analytics enablement. For more senior candidates, this position may include technical leadership, architectural ownership, and mentorship responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain scalable, cloud-based data pipelines and platforms.
- Develop and optimize batch and event-driven data workflows primarily in AWS.
- Build and manage data warehousing solutions using Snowflake.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and performance across pipelines and platforms.
- Partner with analytics, product, and client stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
- Design and implement data models that support analytics, reporting, and downstream applications.
- Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to deploy production-ready data systems.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipeline performance and cost efficiency.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
- Experience building and operating data pipelines in AWS (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, MSK, etc.).
- Proficiency with Python or a similar language for data engineering tasks.
- Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
- Solid understanding of data reliability, security, and governance best practices.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in client-facing setting.
- Experience with GCP data services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
- Exposure to real-time or streaming data systems (Kafka, MSK, Pub/Sub).
- Prior technical leadership or mentorship experience.
- Familiarity with containerization or orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience supporting analytics, BI, or machine learning use cases.
- Cloud or data engineering certifications.

- Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000
- Salary is negotiable based on qualifications, certifications, and experience

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
