We are expanding our engineering capacity to support a growing workload of ongoing data operations, integrations, and modeling tasks.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a Full-Time Data Engineer responsible for managing and maintaining the core data workflows, integrations, and data platform components across our client portfolio. This role is hands-on and focused on execution: ensuring ETL/ELT pipelines run smoothly, managing Snowflake environments, publishing datasets to Sigma, and ensuring data quality.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong foundational skill set who is ready to take ownership of recurring data operations and grow into broader responsibilities over time.

Key ResponsibilitiesETL / ELT & Data Pipelines- Build, maintain, and monitor data pipelines using Rivery, Fivetran, and custom scripts.
- Manage API-based ingestion workflows..
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and perform root-cause analysis.
- Optimize pipelines for cost efficiency, reliability, and performance.
- Manage Snowflake schemas, tables, views, permissions, and stored procedures.
- Implement and maintain RBAC, row-level policies, and warehouse configurations.
- Prepare and publish analytics-ready datasets to Sigma Computing.
- Ensure accuracy and trustworthiness of datasets used by analysts and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support data consumers by documenting tables, assumptions, and data flows.
- Implement validation checks, testing, and QA processes across data workflows.
- Maintain transparency via Git-based version control.
- Respond to data issues within agreed SLAs and escalate when needed.
- Work closely with analysts and technical leads to understand data requirements.
- Create technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and update logs.
- Assist in light platform architecture work as skills progress.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or similar work.
- Strong SQL skills and working proficiency in Python.
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Boomi, Fivetran, Stitch, Talend).
- Understanding of data modeling best practices.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with marketing, advertising, or customer data.
- Experience with Sigma Computing or other BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Exposure to API integrations or custom ingestion scripts.
- Experience in consulting, client-facing roles, or multi-client environments.
- Understanding of data governance, cost optimization, and observability concepts.
Please note this role is only open to candidates in the Denver, CO area. This role is hybrid, and will work from our downtown Denver office on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. We have created a great office environment with team lunches on Tuesday and downtown parking stipends.
The estimated pay range for this role is a base salary of $100,000-$130,000 with a quarterly incentive package that will be discussed before the official offer.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
