About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Analytics/Data Engineer to maintain and expand our critical BI project. You'll collaborate with our data, engineering, and clinical teams to build robust, scalable, and high-quality data workflows that power our platform and insights.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and optimize an ETL project (Python, DBT, cloud-based data workflows).
- Develop new data models, transformations, and analytics features.
- Work with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to deliver reliable data.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Troubleshoot data ingestion, transformation, and delivery issues.
- Contribute to documentation and best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends in data engineering and healthcare tech.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years in data engineering or similar roles.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Experience with dbt for data modeling.
- Experience with BigQuery and ETL/ELT
- Experience with Dagster or Airflow.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development.
- Ability to work independently in a remote team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau).
- Familiarity with Docker.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security.
- Experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7).
- Healthcare experience (HIPAA, GDPR).
