Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Data Engineer to join our data infrastructure team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in DBT and Amazon Redshift, with working knowledge of modern BI tools such as Holistics BI and Metabase. You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and models that power analytics across the organization.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable ELT pipelines using DBT.
- Develop and optimize data models in Amazon Redshift to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to deliver clean, reliable datasets for BI dashboards.
- Integrate data sources and support dashboard development in Holistics BI and Metabase.
- Monitor data pipeline performance, ensure data quality, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Implement best practices in data modeling, transformation logic, and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) – writing modular SQL models and managing transformation workflows.
- Proficiency in Amazon Redshift – including performance tuning, schema design, and data warehousing principles.
- Experience with Holistics BI and Metabase for building and managing dashboards.
- Solid understanding of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows in data engineering.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
