WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and maintain our data pipelines and data integrations with 3rd parties.
- Setup, configure and also develop tools to work with data and get access too.
- Work on tools for monitoring data quality, testing solutions and best practices.
- Helping analysts and stakeholders in investigations with data issues on the technical side.
- Develop and support several data apps for specific business domains.
- Work with and help evolve the whole Yousician backend codebase.
WHO YOU ARE
Must haves:
- Strong experience in Python (or strong experience in some other language, and Python a bit less..)
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with AWS or GCP or Azure
- Hands-on experience working with one or more operational databases, e.g. MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Understanding of Data Engineering principles and basic data pipelines designs.
- Experience with git, docker
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery
- Experience with data modeling and DBT
- Solid understanding of parallel computing and “BigData” concept
- Experience with 3rd party data infrastructure solutions providers
- Experience with API development
- Experience with bazel

Your own instrument
We also have our own stage at our Helsinki office. We also have a double bass, electric and acoustic guitars, a baby grand piano, digital pianos, mixers, microphones, drums, you name it! We have jam sessions after work on Fridays (when it’s safe to do so).
A recording studio
In Helsinki, we have our own recording studio–which you are free to use for your own projects. We love music and encourage everyone to play their favorite songs.
