About the position
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data Intelligence team in our Porto Alegre office. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our organization's data-driven initiatives. You will also be responsible for transforming and organizing raw data into structured and meaningful information, enabling key business insights and decisions.
Main challenges
- Design, implement, and optimize ELT processes to ingest, transform, and integrate data from diverse sources into a centralized data platform.
- Develop and implement strategies for data monitoring, performance optimization, and governance, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate on data modeling using DBT to transform raw data into well-structured, actionable information.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and data requirements.
- Stay updated with emerging data technologies, tools, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with Python programming.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with data extraction tools such as Airflow or Airbyte.
- Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Intermediate English.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic knowledge of BI tools.
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of DBT for data modeling and transformations.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform for container orchestration and infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of data catalog tools such as OpenMetadata or DataHub.

FlexWork Model
