We are looking for a Data Engineer to join Tietoevry Create. The role focuses on designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and cloud-based solutions in Azure, with a strong emphasis on IoT, analytics, and modern data platforms. As a consultant, you’ll be part of a team that works closely with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that drive real business value. Geographical location for this role is mainly Malmö.

When joining Tietoevry Create as a Data Engineer:
You will design and build data pipelines and cloud-native solutions in Azure.
Work with technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, Event Hubs, and Cosmos DB.
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to implement secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions.
Ensure best practices in architecture, monitoring, and DevOps.
Who we are looking for:
Experience in data engineering and cloud development, preferably in Microsoft Azure.
You don’t need to master everything listed, but you should have solid experience in some of the following areas:
Data Ingestion & Processing: Azure Event Hubs, Stream Analytics.
Serverless Compute: Azure Functions.
Data Persistence: Cosmos DB (partitioning, performance tuning).
Analytics & Warehousing: Synapse Analytics, Delta Lake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric.
Visualization & Reporting: Power BI.
Cloud Architecture: Scalable, secure design patterns.
DevOps & Monitoring: Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Azure Monitor, Application Insights
