Responsibilities 🤓

  • Design, develop, and maintain Data Products following Data Mesh principles, enabling scalable and reusable data consumption across the organization.
  • Build, optimize, and operate data pipelines using modern data engineering practices and tools such as dbt, Airflow, and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple business and data domains to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain analytical data models that support reporting, analytics, and advanced data use cases.
  • Define, implement, and promote engineering standards, best practices, and development workflows across data teams.
  • Drive initiatives related to Data Quality, Data Governance, testing, observability, and reliability of data products.
  • Contribute to the adoption of version control, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices within the data ecosystem.
  • Support the evolution and scaling of the bank's data platform, helping establish consistent processes and standards across domains.
  • Partner with stakeholders to foster a data-driven culture and ensure the discoverability, accessibility, and usability of data assets.
  • Participate in initiatives related to AI, intelligent data consumption, and emerging technologies that enhance how users interact with and leverage data.
  • Mentor and influence engineering teams in the adoption of new tools, technologies, and ways of working.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the architecture, performance, and scalability of data solutions.

Required Skills 💻

  • Experience in Data Engineering, including building and optimizing data pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Python (Pandas, Numpy, Jupyter).
  • Experience working with dbt for data transformation and cloud platforms such as AWS. Familiarity with modern data stack tools, including Snowflake, is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Docker.
  • Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect.
  • Familiarity with a BI visualization tool like Looker or Tableau.

  • Experience in Data Engineering, building and optimizing data pipelines
