We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Supply Data Solutions Team, dedicated to building and maintaining high-impact data products. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to develop reliable and well-engineered solutions that drive insights and optimize business processes. What you will do
- Build and maintain data pipelines that deliver actionable insights through various channels (Excel reports, BigQuery tables, Looker dashboards)
- Develop practical optimization solutions for business challenges
- Own your data products end-to-end: from infrastructure as code to production monitoring
- Write efficient Python code using AWS (Lambda, Batch, Step Functions)
- Design and implement robust data models that serve business needs
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployments using GitLab and CloudFormation
- Work directly with business stakeholders to understand their needs and implement effective solutions
- Monitor and improve systems proactively
- Mentor junior colleagues
Who you are
- Strong software engineering background with solid programming fundamentals
- Experience in building maintainable, production-grade applications
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling principles
- Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP) and version control (Git)
- Proactive mindset and ability to identify improvement opportunities
- Understanding of data warehouse concepts and best practices
- Self-driven approach to problem-solving and learning
