As a Data Domain Architect Senior Associate within the Chase Foundational Data team, you partner with stakeholders to design and deliver robust data solutions that support analytics and business objectives. You help drive impactful outcomes by understanding customer needs and developing high-quality products. You contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on innovation and excellence
Job responsibilities
- Define and execute strategy for product data development and delivery to support business objectives, operations, analytics, and reporting
- Build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to prioritize and document critical product data, ensuring proper classification and metadata management
- Direct development of processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks, including protection, retention, storage, use, and quality
- Ensure compliance with firmwide policies, standards, and procedures related to data integrity and protection
- Develop and maintain relationships with data delivery partners and consumers across business, technology, analytics, operations, risk, and control functions
- Demonstrate governance by tracking workstreams, prioritizing deliverables, addressing risks, and ensuring successful delivery
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of six years of industry experience in a data-related field
- Proficiency in data querying and manipulation using technologies such as SQL
- Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines across multiple workstreams
- Proven ability to execute through successful internal partnerships and influence across job functions
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies with tools like Jira or Confluence for backlog management
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in defining and implementing multi-faceted projects or programs
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Snowflake or Athena
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
- Exposure to modern data governance practices
