Director of Data, reporting to CEO, is responsible for overseeing the collection, management, and strategic utilization of data across the organization.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in building large-scale data/software systems with high performance, great usability and highly satisfied customers,
- Experience managing a data team and leading the data strategy of the organization,
- Strong experience applying advanced analytics to a variety of business situations and a proven ability to synthesize complex data,
- Support our brand-new R&D center with signature data science projects,
- Turn our incredibly satisfying data science project ideas into reality and come up with new ones,
- Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings,
- Ability to translate these underpinnings into business implications for the company
- Strong project management skills,
- Comfortable working with different business teams,
- Ability to explain sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner,
- Experience in core analytic methods such as predictive modeling, customer segmentation/clustering, network analysis, supply chain optimization, etc.
