Summary: As a Data Architect, you will define the data requirements and structure for the application. Your typical day will involve modeling and designing the application data structure, storage, and integration. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the data architecture aligns with business objectives and technical specifications, while also addressing any challenges that arise in the data management process. Your role will require you to engage in discussions about data governance and best practices, ensuring that the architecture is robust, scalable, and efficient. You will also be responsible for documenting the data architecture and providing guidance to team members on implementation strategies. The Data Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy and architecture. This role focuses on enhancing the management, governance, and security of organizational information. The goal is to enable the organization to establish a single source of truth for all data, facilitating the translation of information into actionable insights that drive both efficiency and competitive advantage. Required and Preferred Skills -Must-have skills: Data Analytics on Microsoft Platform -Good-to-have skills: Data Architecture Principles Experience and Educational Requirements -Minimum of 7.5 years of relevant experience is required. -Candidate must have completed 15 years of full-time education. Role Summary This position demands a seasoned data professional with significant expertise in data integration, cloud architecture, and data analytics. The primary responsibility is to design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines using the Fivetran platform. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level skills in transferring data from multiple sources to a centralized data warehouse, ensuring data quality, and supporting business intelligence efforts. Key Responsibilities -Data Integration and Pipeline Management: Design, develop, and maintain reliable data pipelines using Fivetran to extract, load, and transform data from a variety of sources, such as applications, databases, and APIs. -Cloud Data Warehousing: Manage and optimize data models and data warehouses on cloud platforms. This includes performance tuning and schema design to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. -Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to accurately understand data requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives. -Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Offer technical guidance and assistance for the successful adoption and operation of Fivetran. Address any technical issues related to connectors or data ingestion. -Documentation and Governance: Maintain thorough documentation of data architecture, processes, and workflows, ensuring data security and compliance with organizational policies. -Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to share user feedback and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Fivetran ecosystem. Skills and Qualifications -Demonstrated experience in data engineering, data integration, or a closely related technical field. -Hands-on experience configuring and managing Fivetran connectors for data integration tasks. -Proficiency in SQL scripting and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts. -Experience working with a major cloud platform, specifically Azure. -Familiarity with data transformation tools, such as dbt. -Strong communication and analytical skills, with the capability to explain complex technical concepts to audiences without technical backgrounds. -Experience working with a range of databases, both on-premise and cloud-based, including Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
