Working under minimal supervision, the Data Architect is a business-minded individual responsible for understanding the data needs across the enterprise and to develop and execute a roadmap to maximize data capabilities and business insights. The Data Architect is responsible for scaling the data function as new products and services are implemented and transforming data into insights that inform strategy and decision making to support profitable growth.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Guide the future direction of data solution, including intake, sources, database design and structure, data integrity, and database tools
  • Dimensional data modeling
  • Help client in transforming data and information into insights that inform high-level strategy and tactical decision-making in support of revenue and profitability objectives
  • Serve as a champion for a data-driven culture, lead a team of cross-functional analysts, support and train staff in data systems and reporting
  • Develop and execute a plan to maximize self-service capabilities for users and customers
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with clients to ensure information needs are formalized and understood and be conversant in the functional requirements for information exchange
  • Oversee internal and external application/tool development, integration, and support
  • Supervise and evaluate external consultants as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in data space
  • Strategic mindset with demonstrated experience in implementing data solutions and driving continuous improvement
  • Expert communication skills and ability to influence C-suite executives
  • Prior experience in contributing data related pre-sales and proposals
  • Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP
  • Experience with Snowflake or Databricks a plus

My favorite events include a Summer in Winter themed party we held at the Studio, Peak, Peach and remotely all simultaneously. Those attending remotely, zoomed in with festive attire we sent in packages that included drinks/food/favors we had them on the big screen TV so they can view everyone and participate in games.
