The Role

The Role:

As a Manufacturing Data Architect, you’ll lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level data architectures tailored to manufacturing systems such as MES, SCADA, ERP, and IIoT. You’ll be responsible for creating scalable, secure, and integrated data platforms that power analytics, predictive maintenance, and production optimization. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across IT, operations, and engineering to align data strategy with business objectives. Your leadership in data governance, cloud platforms, and real-time systems will be critical in supporting our journey toward Industry 4.0 and smart factory initiatives.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Deep understanding of MES, SCADA, ERP, PLC, and shop floor systems
• Expertise in data modeling, ETL, integration tools, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure Synapse
• Strong knowledge of data governance, MDM, and data security best practices
• Proven ability to integrate IIoT, sensor, and machine data into enterprise platforms
• Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Industry 4.0, digital twins, and smart manufacturing.
• Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs, lean principles, and continuous improvement.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or data architecture frameworks.
