Join our global team of experts

At Diconium, we do digital business transformation across various industries. As a team member, you will work on projects that generate value from software, data, and AI by delivering strategies and solutions that challenge conventional industry practices and drive technological progress. Together with over 2,300 fellow experts, you enable Fortune 500 firms, global market leaders, and SMEs to maximize the impact of their digital initiatives and achieve digital excellence. In everything we do, we prioritize people and genuine human connections, ensuring a supportive and inclusive work environment. And we give you maximum flexibility thanks to our hybrid workplace.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Architect data platforms end to end. You design and own the data architecture — from data lakes and lakehouses to real-time streaming pipelines and AI-ready feature stores — for complex enterprise clients across industries.

• Advise at the right level. You act as a trusted strategic sparring partner, guiding clients from C-level down through the architecture and engineering layers, translating business needs into durable technical decisions.

• Define governance that works in practice. You establish data governance frameworks, data quality standards, metadata management, and master data management practices that teams can actually follow and maintain.

• Drive delivery. You take ownership of architecture decisions across one or more concurrent projects — from requirements and design through to production rollout — and ensure quality and consistency across the full delivery lifecycle.

• Work cloud-native. You design solutions on modern cloud platforms, applying architecture patterns suited to distributed, high-volume, and heterogeneous data environments.

• Raise the bar. You mentor and coach junior colleagues, champion best practices, and actively shape the standards of diconium's Data & AI practice.

• Grow the practice. You contribute to pre-sales activities, capability development, and thought leadership — helping to evolve our service portfolio and position diconium in the market.

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

Must haves:

• Substantial experience in Data Architecture, with a track record of designing and delivering production-grade data solutions in complex enterprise environments.

• Deep, hands-on knowledge of cloud data platforms and services (AWS or/and Azure).

• Fluency in data modeling paradigms: relational, dimensional, Data Vault, and lakehouse architectures — and the judgment to choose the right one.

• Proven experience establishing data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices, including tooling such as Microsoft Purview / Collibra / AWS Glue / AWS DataZone / AWS IAM.

• Consulting background or equivalent high-stakeholder-complexity experience: you can communicate architectural vision clearly to technical teams and C-level audiences alike, and guide clients confidently through transformation.

• Experience working in agile delivery environments (Scrum, SAFe, or similar).

• Fluent English, with confidence working across international, distributed teams.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with AI/ML platform requirements: vector databases, feature stores, LLM data pipelines, and the data infrastructure that supports model training and inference at scale.

• Experience with streaming and event-driven architectures (Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming, Azure Event Hubs).

• Practical data engineering skills: Python, SQL, Spark, or dbt — enough to review implementations and support your teams.

• Knowledge of data mesh principles and federated data governance at scale.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Databricks Certified Data Engineer, AWS Certified Data Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect and so on ).

• Domain experience in automotive, industrial IoT, or connected mobility.
